OWNER/PRINCIPLE DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER
David Grabham is the visionary behind G Design.
With a strong passion for design, David works tirelessly to breathe new life into old spaces and designs beautiful new buildings. David's background is in building, making him a designer that not only thinks about how things look, but also how they will work structurally while staying within budget.
Jon Grabham is David's business partner and brother. While Jon focuses primarily on the construction side of the business, G Family Construction, he often collaborates with David, providing feedback and creative solutions for design and space planning.
Dago De la Rosa, PE
Dago De La Rosa is our resident Structural Engineer.
With degrees from both Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and University of Leeds, Dago has been involved in the structural design of projects ranging from commercial office buildings, educational facilities, data centers, airports and residential buildings around the Bay Area using all common building materials. Dago is motivated by team collaboration to provide customers with cost-effective construction solutions.
Alex is California North Bay born and raised. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College in the Architecture program. Her love of architecture and design stemmed from her great grandfather, grandfather, and father being carpenters. She loves environments that reflect nature and work with the environment instead of against it. Her hope for the future is that we can learn to embrace and incorporate nature into design on a daily basis, reinvent designs, and practices that are harmful to nature. Her goal when working on a project is to create a symbiotic relationship with clients, where communication and collaboration are key to creating an environment that is functional, beautiful, and unique to each client.
Fun fact: In her free time she likes to be outside having fun, exploring somewhere, or just enjoying the tranquility of nature. She also loves to travel whenever possible. Being able to experience other people’s culture and history is truly a humbling experience, and an amazing blessing!
Lam Nguyen - EIT
Lam is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree of Science in Civil Engineering. Before joining G Design, he had five months of strong experience in performing fundamental engineering design and CAD support tasks. Lam says, "Transforming a project from a mere conception on paper to a beautifully rendered 3D model, where clients can have virtual walkthrough of the project is the most exciting part of my job. My current goals are to become a true expert at my role as a draftsman/BIM designer at G Design, really get to know the ins and outs of the business and look for the opportunities to make the design team as efficient as possible."
Fun fact: In his free time Lam enjoys watching documentaries about the future and space exploration.
JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER DRAFTER/DESIGNER
BIM DESIGNER/CAD TECHNICIAN
Alicia graduated as a Building Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. Thanks to a scholarship, she was able to finish her studies in Strasbourg, France, where she learned French and was submerged in different cultures. She decided to come to the US to learn English at the College of Marin, where she took architectural classes as well. She worked as an associate interior commercial designer for one of the official dealers of Herman Miller in San Francisco, but always has been passionate about buildings, construction methods, technical drawings, and graphic expression.
Fun fact: She loves traveling, going to restaurants, discovering cool parks with the dogs every weekend, trying new things and any sport or activity related to the water : ) she is, of course, a fanatic of Hawaii, and things with 2 wheels. However, almost every day she get's crazy on her stationary bike!
